Hi Everyone...Welcome Back...here's our plan for today:
1. Log into Typing Web...remember your username is the letter of your first name and complete last name ie...psteiner
Your password is jude. If you did not do any typing this summer you may have to create your user name and password again...you can always put a number 1 after your name ie psteiner1
Practice just for 10 minutes and shake out those typing cobwebs...remember to use the home row position.
2. Check out the Olympic site and look in the Featured Galleries...Top Moments of the Games.
What were your top 2 moments???? Write a paragraph about each one using Word and save as Olympicsyourname. We will look at these next week.
3. 40 wedding hot dog Irish ancestry.....????? That's my summary of my summer.
This is called a 6 Word Memoir...or a recap or memory of your summer in just 6 words.
Write a 6 Word Memoir of your summer in Word and save as memoiryourname. Next week we will write the backstory or explanation of what these 6 words mean. Here's a hint about the "hot dog"...It was a very hot summer and my son John wound up moving home for a short time because of the heat and he brought his dog, Gibson...we had never had a dog before and our cat was not happy....
No need to print anything out today just make sure your work is saved.
I'm sorry to have missed you today...I am in London and Ireland and will be back on Labor Day...looking forward to seeing you all next week!
